walnut halves (not pieces) 1k
Pimenton de la Vera dulce 2T
Pimenton de la Vera picante2T
cayenne pepper, powder1T
cinnamon, powder1T
black pepper1T
grey sea salt1T
granulated sugar2T
extra virgin olive oil 1/4C
mix all ingredients together till well coated, adding more oil if necessary, or less if you prefer. the nuts will roast in a preheated oven @350 for 15 minutes, or until they have a nice crunch. they should not be black or charred. when done, toss them again and remove from pan leaving excess oil in pan. let cool, enjoy with some crisp, chilled sangria, sherry or your favorite rosado wine.
